Big Movies doesn't have any high definition media options in its library as it promises, but it does have a whole lot of porn. There were over 15,000 scenes here. The pornstar list is a little thin with the big name stars and the studios are mostly mid-level production houses, but at $60/year this is a pretty huge bargain and worth checking out if you're a general hardcore fan.

Concept And Introduction
Big Movies is a big DVD porn archive. They've gathered a bunch of titles from about 80 different studios that you can download or stream instantly online. There are lots of pornstars and a mix of hardcore niches here and the tour promises high definition content, too.

Big Movies features DVDs released by 80 different studios (at the time of my visit). There are some bigger names in that list, like Anarchy Studios, but also lots of mid-tier production houses. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the big studios have big names for something. The hardcore action here is varied and delivers, but isn't all that unique at times.
Tech Talk
There were no high definition downloads or streams here, though the tour pages of the site (and its logo) say otherwise. What you do get is access to a streaming Flash video embedded in the browser with 3 quality settings (the HD setting is not HD). The Flash videos stream at 768x432 pixel resolutions.
Small Talk And Personal Opinion
I was pretty disappointed that the site didn't have high definition options, which would have been the biggest selling point, since without it this DVD porn archive doesn't have much to differentiate itself from the dozens of others out there. In truth it doesn't carry many of the big titles or many of the big pornstars either, another reason why no HD hurts the site's potential score.
Conclusion
While the site isn't as amazing as some others out there, it does have a big advantage: a really cheap price tag if you sign up for a full year at $60.00. That's just $5 a month, less than a pack of cigarettes! I think if you go that route then the huge archive works out as a great deal, regardless of its shortcomings.
